Helping others
Today I received an unexpected comment.
I love writing blog posts and recording my podcast. I didn’t remember how much fun and how rewarding it can be.
I mainly do all that for myself. I keep it a kind of journal, and I can revisit it to see my progress. I don’t expect anyone to listen or read those. Well, it’s not entirely true: I hope you like it, but I try not to focus on that because you can’t please everyone, so that would be a waste of time to expect otherwise.
I mentioned my podcast lately to a group of people, and I left it like that. Comes today, I received an email saying that those daily entries made this person reflect and ponder. I was ecstatic: not only because I received feedback as I’m always happy to get those or else I can’t improve, but also because I was able to help someone else in a small way.
I don’t consider myself better than anyone, and I don’t always know what to say, but I do my best to provide what I can, and if it happens to help, I’m immensely grateful for that.
Alone, like a drop of water in the ocean, we don’t make much of a difference, but together, we can make waves and provide a tidal change.
Bringing more positivity to the world in a sensible way makes sense. We might be different externally, but inside we’re all the same: human beings with a beating heart, able to share and spread a better mindset for a better future.
Thank you for taking the time to read or listen, reflect and ponder, and ask yourself questions to see how far you can go to become a better you.
Thank you for being there. You matter.
