Planning vs complaining
Planning to execute instead of complaining about not executing is essential to consider.
Here’s a specific example of how perception can play a significant role in our satisfaction in general: I used to think that I should be allowed to work on more fun projects at work, and then I felt uninspired when I couldn’t. I had it all backwards: I need to work on my dreams on my time, and then I can feel inspired for more at work.
Right now, I have a lot to learn about many subjects. I’m excited to begin again. The beginner’s mindset is beautiful: it allows you to learn without judgment and to grow without fear because you’re just learning and you know nothing yet, so you can’t be expected to correct it the first time, right?
It gives you a lot of flexibility and broad capabilities to try and see what sticks.
Life is too short to use all the time you have complaining instead of trying and building.
Creating something after you worked hard on learning how to do it is a beautiful experience. The feeling of being able to do something, new or not, is simply amazing.
We are builders. We get to decide if we’ll build by learning how to better ourselves or destroy others around us. It’s a choice; choose wisely.
What do you think? Let me know.
